Default Ello...

Ahh... Greetings!

I was perusing a powerleveling guide that I downloaded off the internet a long time ago, and it had a link to your site at the very bottom, I had never noticed the first time I looked at it...

So I came to the site and I am amazed! Sadly, I can't play yet... But I look forward to the chance....

I have one question though, and please forgive me if this has been asked before, but my computer searches forums very slowly....

The "illegit" servers... Does that mean that twinking can be done by a chain of commands, similar to the way HackerQuest is set up? You type in a command like /createitem (itemcode) and the item spawns on your cursor?

Or does "illegit" mean the server operators grant privileges to the friends they make on their server? Or that the item base is different than EQLive...

Anyway, I was just wondering for the sake of creating that "dream" character I have always wanted to have, lol...

I actually have a second question, but it is semi-support and not idle curiosity... In the event I choose to play EQEmu, I would want to install everquest to a different directory... The two EQ's shouldn't mess with each other as long as I modify the correct files right?

Thanks for your help... I hope to be able to join you guys soon!

(BTW: I must say, you guys are great for doing this... My friend quit cause he was sick of paying Sony money to play... And I am gettign to the point where money is tight... So this fixes both our problems... )

Legit is like eqlive.
Illegit is like hackersquest.

If someone gives special priveleges to friends, there's no name for that.

Ok, I am only asking this because I am having problems discerning dev. files and files for clients...

Will the bugs be fixed server side.... Or are there files we clients need to download as well?

EQEMu doesnt fix client side bugs, since we are a server side program. the client is eqgame.exe that SoE gave you. Server side bugs will mostly be fixxed before the final version (it would be nearly impossible for them all to be gone..EQlive still has bugs itself.
