Default A few zones crash to desktop... why?

Anyone know why certain zones, kael, thurgadin, soldunga crash me out to the desktop? I have to get into the db and move my char to some other zone or else it'll just keep crashing. Is it the zone in points or what? Ideas?

nilremdrol with all the issues you are having I am pointing out # 1 in the running a server guide.

"To run your own server, you must have a compiler and be somewhat familiar with computers. If you are not computer saavy, it's best not to run your own server - you have to know a fair bit of what you are doing and have the ability to resolve most problems on your own. "

You may want to just wait for the Devs to get a bit futher and fix some of the bugs befor trying to run a server.[/quote]

The database for 0.5.0dr3 has some issues that causes some zones to crash. These are being worked on. Keep updating your database when new ones come out. It will get better.

I didn't think there was a database for dr3 yet. As for matt, I think i'm doing pretty good man, I was just asking about some things that i hadn't seen in the forums thats all. Hey, at least i got my server running, thats more than anyone can say for prolly 95% of the 13 year olds that come to this site (no i'm not 13) =) If you have any ideas for help on these couple of issues let me know. Thanks!

I suspect the client may crash on some zones due to an invalid *.cfg file for the zone, but this is just a guess.

I've been going around all of the zones collecting new *.cfg files and will release them when I am near completion. I need some people to help me collect, and I'll make a separate post for that.
