Default Anyone know why naggy is a human?

Hey Folks,
I have my server up and it works great. Everything is more or less perfect except that most of the bigger mobs are humans. Really really big humans. I checked they're stats and the races numbers are correct and i've gone through genders with them but nothing works. All dragons, wyverns and a lot of others are all just big ass humans. Anyone know cause and/or fix? Thanks.

There not the correct sex is my first guess. 0 = male 1 = female 2 = nuter. Dragons ect have to be 2. also there not global models so there onle avaluble is certain zones.

Nope, checked that. I zoned to seb, walked up to trak (he was human of course) picked up his tail, and there was nothing there. (sex = 2) so just for fun i changed sex to 0, changed his race to whatever then changed it back to trakanon race, no better result. Then i changed sex back to 2 and changed race and trak is still a human. So, race is right, sex is right zone is right. Any other things to try? btw, i did this all with gorenair in dl too.

OK, so after some checking around and talking to people, it seems that kunark and velious mobs are borked. I went to PoV and had a conversation with that dragon in there and he keeled me, but at least he was a dragon. Anyone know how to fix the velious/kunark mobs?

I found this actually works.

Where the spawn asks for <material> you need to enter the text based value. If you look on the guides section on main site, you will find the full ID's and material names for things. The exact syntax escapes me at the moment. I have it at home, (am at work ATM) but it is something like this.

#spawn <NPC name> <ID> <LEVEL> <MATERIAL> <HP> <GENDER> etc etc

the gender as you know is important here...but there are two other factors I found just as important.

1) you must be in the zone they are normally found.

2) their material must be set. I.e Cazic Thule falls under the "Cube" category so that must be reflected in the spawn command.

I would imagine Nagy would fall under the Dragons material.

But I'm not sure.

Hope that helps.

Nil found the solution to this problem, but I'll post on it I simply took my old cds reloaded EQ and moved the zone files from the original to the emulator (only the ones that gave me problems and only one zone at a time)... I never had any problems with the mobs showing up correctly after that.

Any kind people out there know where I can find some good db's... I know they take a lot of work so I won't be suprised if I don't get any replies. Main concern is zone in points and working portals.
