Default Question RE: Latest EQlive patch

Hi folks, new member here, glad to join your community

I have sorted everything and was ready to play but then found out about the non compatability with the latest EQlive patch. As others have stated I can get to the login screen but then it just stays on that screen indefinately saying that it is connecting.

I do play EQlive but mainly on my laptop so I thought what the hey I will give EQemu a bash on my static and see what its like (and hopefully try out some alternative 65 toons).

My question is that as I run Windows XP would I be able to system restore my comp to a date before the 14th/16th patch and then be able to log in?

Cheers peeps

That is the method in which I have seen other people using to be able to connect still. The other option is to wait for the devs to work their magic, like I am
