Default Empty Server Screen

I am having an issue with the clients on my public server showing a blank/empty server select screen. Ive already got the public system working, and can successfully log accounts in via the public... but EVERY time the server select is blank. The server is running as a DMZ with all ports open, and the system is running as a Dynamic host (mydynip, no-ip, ect.) After digging through the forums i have only come up with the bug that the servers wont show... log out log in to fix, and that does not resolve the issue. Any Ideas or suggestions are greatly appreciated in advance

Thanks

You mean their server select screen is blank? That has nothing to do with your personal server (unless of course your server is not showing up but the others are)

First two things that come to mind, make sure your eqhost.txt is correct with no whitespace, and are the clients compatible with EQEmu? For you, the only compatible version would be the unpatched Titanium client.

The server WAS minilogin, and changed to the public server so friends can join in or i can play across LAN. The client and eqhosts is correct, pointing to the dynamic address for the server, else i wouldnt even be able to log on. Originally I had an issue with no being able to sign in or the client timing out, that was fixed by fixing the eqhost, and the client is an unpatched titanium. It seems almost like the login server comes up but the world server doesnt, or that its pointed in the wrong direction.

XML example
<shortname>NeoBushido</shortname>
<longname>Bahamut127's NeoBushido</longname>
<address>whatever.dynip.org</address> (the url of the dynamic ip host)
<localaddress>127.0.0.1</localaddress>

im not gonna include the login info becasue i know i have that right... has anyone had a problem using a dynamic address? I have even tried changing the <localaddress> to both my LAN IP and the dynamic URL.

Don't want to maybee state the obvious but did you edit your HOSTS file?

Default Variables

Do you have a variables table in your database? and is it filled out correctly? I only say this because if you can connect to minilogin, there shouldent be an issue with any connection issues, rather... the world within the minilogin... Is it saying in the minilogin window along the title bar "1 server 0 clients" when yo have world and minilogin up?

Okay i double checked the host file and i did find the url misspelled... fixed that problem.... POOF... no longer get a blank Server Select... yeah!!!!

then once i attempt to log in i get smacked by another problem... the client times out so I go and scan the logs and come across this in the world.exe

[12.09. - 17:49:52] [WORLD__CLIENT] New connection from 192.168.1.1:1732
[12.09. - 17:49:53] [NET__ERROR] 192.168.1.1:1732: Received OP_SessionRequest in ESTABLISHED state (0)
[12.09. - 17:49:53] [NET__IDENTIFY] Unable to identify stream from 192.168.1.1:1732 before it closed.

This seems to repeat over and over till the client times out then starts over again as i retry
