Default Zone9x/zoneNT

i can get into the minilogin server fine without useing one of these files, but as soon as i push enter world, i imeadeatly crash back to server, with no errors or anything, so im guessing i have to use one of these, im useing windows 98, but when i open zone9x it looks like this:

"Useing database 'EQ' at localhost
Usage: zone zone_name address port worldaddress".. without the "s of course, ive read everything i can find, any ideas anyone?

besides all those opcode erros... wich is obviously a problem but i guess it doesnt seem to mater cause it keeps goin past it, the only other error i can see is the "map not found"... any advice on how to fix this? thanks ;P

If you have a zone9x.exe then your not using 0.3.4. you're probably using 0.3.3.1 which requires an older EQ patch to work properly.

Yeah the reason there is a ZoneNT and Zone9x is because zoneNT doesnt work on Windows 98/ME and Zone9x doesnt work on WinNT/2k/XP. There is no zone9x.exe because none of the devs had a win9x box to test it on (cant release an untested product can we)....

Zone9x should work fine on NT/2000/xp, just not the other way around. ZoneNT should be faster on the OS's it runs on though.

0.3.5 beta 5 has just a zone.exe now. its just ZoneNT.exe renamed since it works on all OS's now (according to the other devs).
