Default Keep getting 1017.

Ok, I'll try and be verbose, 'cause I know what a pain it is to diagnose something with no info about it.

When I run world.exe, then boot5.bat, it works; no errors. I launch EQW, pick out my server(using eqemu1.* as loginserver), and get booted back to server select. I never make it to character select. I am behind a router, with 5999, 7995-7999 and 9000 open. 192.168.254.88 is my private ip.

File contents follow:

loginserver.ini
Code:
[LoginServer]
loginserver=eqlogin1.eqemu.net
loginserver2=eqlogin2.eqemu.net
loginport=5999
loginport2=5999
worldname=derfy's
locked=false
account=
password=
worldaddress=192.168.254.88
boot5zones.bat
Code:
@echo off
start zone . 192.168.254.88 7995 192.168.254.88
start zone . 192.168.254.88 7996 192.168.254.88
start zone . 192.168.254.88 7997 192.168.254.88
start zone . 192.168.254.88 7998 192.168.254.88
start zone . 192.168.254.88 7999 192.168.254.88
exit
cls
and db.ini
Code:
[Database]
host=localhost
user=derfy
password=***********
database=eq
I am using Win2k SP3. Anything else I need to add, please let me know.

You need to put in your public ip into worldaddress, and into bootzones.bat...

Ok, updated them, and world.exe gives me:
Code:
Using database 'eq' at localhost
EqEmu 0.3.8 - Vergeltung
Loading zone names & items...done.
LoginServer.ini read.
Loading guild ranks...done.
World server listening on: port 9000
Connected to LoginServer: eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5999
New TCP connection: 192.168.254.88:2278
TCP connection lost: 192.168.254.88:2278
Removing console from ip: 192.168.254.88 port:2278
New TCP connection: 192.168.254.88:2279
TCP connection lost: 192.168.254.88:2279
Removing console from ip: 192.168.254.88 port:2279
New TCP connection: 192.168.254.88:2280
TCP connection lost: 192.168.254.88:2280
Removing console from ip: 192.168.254.88 port:2280
over and over again. After about 10 to 15 seconds each of the zone.exe instances gives me this:
Code:
Using database 'eq' at localhost
EqEmu 0.3.8 - Vergeltung
Loading zone names, items & NPCs...done.
If this is the last message you see, you forgot to move spells_en.txt from your
EQ dir to this dir.
Spells loaded.
Loading guild ranks...done.
Loading faction data...done.
WorldServer connect: Connecting to the server failed. Error: 10060

is there a firewall running? Also, there may be nothing you can do, many people with routers have been unable to get them to work... might want to search the board for those rounter problems there may be some light they can shed on it
