Default EQ Online Adventures Emulation?

Hello All,
Quick question that I'm just curious to hear what others think. Its actually two small questions.

1. Anyone here going to get and play EQ Online Adventures for the PS2?

2. Does anyone think that system will ever have an emulator for its servers the way we have EQemu?

As I said, I'm just curious to know what others here think. Also, does anyone have any opinions of EQ OA vs EQ. Is it as big as the EQ original release for PC, etc...

1).. I played beta.. game was pretty fun but as always EQPC > ALL.

2) I doubt anyone whos going to play EQOA is going to want to emulate it since most of them are going to be ps2 players and not EQ players(don't get me wrong, i'm sure there will be a few). So unless you intend on making your own emu I highly doubt one would come out.

Dunno about PS2, But I know that the title pretty much translates to: " Waste of Time ".

The work they are doing with ps2s i'd see it'd be possible.. modchips or whatever they're called.

you would just simply run the server on a PC. And most likely have your ps2 trafic redirected by your computer to the emu server. I'm almost 100% positive its possable.

Probably possible if u use a private lan like Xbox users did with halo and early link box games.. could work but you will probably need a very fast connections.

Not sure how these work, but you could make EQOA work on your PC and emulate it that way. I have never done this with any game, but I have downloaded PS2 games onto my computer and played them that way.

The only problem that I can see is finding an easy way to tell EQOA to connect to an emulated server. PS2 is a little harder to work with since you can't really edit a lot of stuff (for all we know, it could be hard coded into the game on the CD, and there isn't a way to change that really, redistributing the file would be illegal aswell if we did hack it (so you could burn it)).
