Item Database Developers Please Read!!

From the past of EQEMu, i've noticed you guys create a program to pull information from websites or data files.

I've found this site where you can pull a lot of information off the items. You get icon pictures, stats in text.

Here is: Enchanted Antonian Long Sword

MAGIC ITEM

This includes EVERYTHING you need to know about the items. The only problem is the model. But it says:

idfile IT1

Where IT1 is the basic sword.

So this might be a way of getting all the items up to date, if you could create a program to pull data from this site. It just had an update with plane of time items, and is a member of afterlife from EQ that runs the site, so i'm guessing its pretty much up to date.

I don't know anything on getting .bat programs or your own programs to pull data, so have fun. :P

Lucy has been mentioned time after time, the owner of the site doesn't want to give his data to eqemu. Afterlife are dev-friendly, so I guess they don't want their members supporting an EMU project. :p

We had a screenscaper that grabbed all the data at one time.. only problem there is we lost all the item prices, and some other data, so its not the best solution...


Plus, we've got enough items... Better to make our own if you ask me

Hmph... Well, Lucy is very accurate, and well, I made some items last night from Lucy data... More to come later. Ring of Algae, Sword of Primordial Power, Hammer of Crushing Waves, Exquisite Phoenix Feather Mantle, Moss Encrusted Band.

xelnagan, don't bother making items from lucy or magelo, unless they are ones you want now. I have the stuff to do so automaticly, and will get around to updating the items again soon.

Wewt. I wanted some updated items.

I aswell went into Kaiyodos item editor and made some items.. I was surprised how accurate I could make them.. pretty much perfect. <3 lucy
