Default Tinting on weapons?

Is the code for this entirely client-side or can it be altered/added to in the server code?
I was thinking that it would be great if you could add tinting to weapons as well as armour, so bronze, brass, jade, silver etc. weapons actually look different; currently many weapons just use the generic grey steel models. I tried adding tinting with the admin program but it didn't seem to work.

Also, the item DB might need to be updated now that gnomes and halflings can be paladins, SKs and rangers; all the items for these classes will probably need these races adding to their usable flags.

Default

dunno about the tinting but the race/class combo is completely client side.. if you have latest patch you can make gnome pallys, ect.. i know because i looked and its there hehe (connected to a 0.2.6 server after 3-19 patch but before 3-21 patch). no eta on 0.2.6 because 3-21 patch broke it again.
