Default cant connect
had anything changed between yesterday and today as i was able to connect and play yesterday, but today i sit at the account screen waiting for a connect for about 10 seconds tehn i get an error cant login "1001" any ideas?

what servers are you connecting to 0.5.0 or 0.4.4?

anyway the servers could be laged out or you got a bad connection or who knows lol

ive been connecting to .5.0 servers. i was lpaying fine on the beta server perfect. then when i tried this afternoon it just sits at tthe coneect screen for awhile then says error 1001 cant connect to server. ive also tried every couple hours all day so tehy prolly arent lagged out and my connection seems fine to me

I to have been having the same problem trying to connect to 4.4 servers. I have changed my eqhost.txt just to make sure.

been 16 hours since I been able to connect last. :cry:

I too haven't been able to connect to "eqlogin1.eqemulator.net:5999" I'm not a new user, was just playing on it a day ago. Denver, CO Earthlink/mindspring DSL 1.5mb... was asked for those in eqemu irc and answered, but with know follow up suggestions.

-ChanServ- ALSO NOTE: The login servers can be reached at eqlogin1.eqemulator.net within the next few hours depending on how long it takes for the dns to propogate through the system. The address will be eqlogin1.eqemulator.net:5999 for 4.4 and lower, eqlogin1.eqemulator.net:5997 for 5.0+......

to my knowledge that means its down.. but theres no Time on the message... so I don't know when it was typed. Could've been hours and hours ago.

I have the same problem with the 5.0 servers.
