router help please

i have checked like 10 different threads that give a link to forward ports on a router, but none of them work...could someone please give me a fresh link to them that does work? Thanks

What type of Router do you have, ?
that will help aout little bit ^^

and are you trying to play the Game or Host EQ Server ?

trying to host...and not many people have heard of my router...at least out of my friends...but ill say name anyway. its a netgear router.
