Cannot select race ROF2 client

I am running a local server that I just set up and am logging in with the ROF2 client. I got the client from the FV project website. It is not patched for that server, as far as I know. When I go to the character creation screen on my server, it doesn't let me change races, it says "BUY" on all the race icons.

I can cancel back to character select and go back into character creation, and it will randomly choose a different race each time, and I can choose any class that the race that was randomly selected has access to.

Anyone know what might be causing this?

I resolved this by exporting the files from the server and placing them in the appropriate folders on the client.
