Default Update sql for MWnpcmovDB...(11/16)

Update sql updates items and objects.
just source this file into existing DB, it is an update, not a complete DB.
Objects spawn and and should function..........
The catch is..........they spawn as a small bag ingame(wrong graphic) and open to correct container for tradeskill.

NOTE: As always , make a backup of your DB before making big changes.

Try it out , give some feedback , Let's get objects working

http://tcstoys.sytes.net/050_item_object_update.zip

Enjoy :lol:

P.S. : More easy updates via update.sql as soon as I get some more goodies added

TCS ,

Quick Question.

If using your database, should I use dumpeditems.sql from the Files area here on EqEmu as well? If so, is it as simple as just sourcing dumpeditems into the database or are the other things to consider?

it's that simple.. the dumpeditems has a value in it that drops your current items table and creates a new one with the item dumps.

Great DB TCS, thanks..

I also have a quick question, which is probably kinda stupid, but I'll ask anyway.

In the npc_types table, there's a field called bodytype. I've been trying to figure out exactly what each of the body types represents, so far I know this:
1 = Humanoids
3 = Undead
4 = giants/cyclops
5 = clockworks/Golems
21 = Animals
22 = Insects
25 = Plant
26 = Drakes/Wyverns
27 = Summoned
29 = Dragons

Other than those, the others are kinda baffling me a little. For example 0 has all kinds of differing mobs in it. 24 would appear to have all those tiny/impossible to target mobs... Just curious is all.. just trying to figure out the DB structure a little.

AK1122, TCS and I have been trying to get these objects working for a while now. Looks like they have not been fully implemented yet.

I sourced your MWnpcmovDB_050_alpha0_3_3 and then sourced the update 050_item_object_update. i start up the world, boot five zones ect. everything is fine and waiting for play. then i patched to live. when i try to play the database it says incompatable version. is this a 5.0 db that is compatable with the live patch? am i possibly using the wrong emulator? just looking for some insight as to anything that may be obvious here. thank you.

Jenniferrose are you sure you are using the latest 0.5.0 executables? The database itself have nothing really to do with compatibility, other than you wont be able to start the server itself if the database is not the right one..

Make sure you download the latest server executables and check if it gives any error messages upon starting the server (World.exe and the Zone.exe).

are you actually converting the 4.4 database to 5.0 or are you re entering the info from 4.4 to 5.0? also, is it just your database or all of 5.0, the npc when you attack it, it seems to ghost around a little bit. or maybe the z axis is off? just curious. thanks

just wanted to add, thank you for sharing your db. this is the only one i could get to work for me in 5.0
