Default Locked Server?

I just setup my 5.0 Server to test and I log into EQ. I see my server name on the list but it has the word LOCKED in blue next to it. I can't access my server, but can access those without the LOCKED word. I checked my ini files and locked=false. What do I have to do to unlock my server or give me access to the server? I'd prefer a server where I can block out all access except to those players I wish to play on my server. Anyhow, if anyone can tell me how to unlock my server or keep it locked but allow me access I'd appreciate it.

John

Means there are no zone servers connected to your world server.

Ok, so what are the symptoms and resolution for this problem. What does it mean when you say that there are no zone servers connected to your world server?

Thanks!
Just got the server up and advertizing.

Symptoms: The problem in the first thread, a locked server.

Common cause: There are no zone servers currently running and connected to the world server.

Make sure that you're starting the zones properly by editing the Boot5Zones.bat and adjusting the settings to match your configuration (directions for doing so are in the server setup guide). Boot the zones from the .bat file after World.exe has successfully loaded to ensure the zones don't finish loading before the world does. If either program gets an error message, search the forums for resolutions to those problems.

Default Fixed!

Great, thanks!

Had the following in my boot5zones.bat file:

start zonedebug . 24.27.12.12 7995 24.27.12.12
start zonedebug . 24.27.12.12 7996 24.27.12.12
start zonedebug . 24.27.12.12 7997 24.27.12.12
start zonedebug . 24.27.12.12 7998 24.27.12.12
start zonedebug . 24.27.12.12 7999 24.27.12.12

Changed the default zonedebug to zone and it loaded my zones.
start zone . 24.27.12.12 7995 24.27.12.12
start zone . 24.27.12.12 7996 24.27.12.12
start zone . 24.27.12.12 7997 24.27.12.12
start zone . 24.27.12.12 7998 24.27.12.12
start zone . 24.27.12.12 7999 24.27.12.12

On to the next problem..
