Default Problems with server...

Hey guys. I have just started my server and it works to some extent.

I tried to make a few characters (DE, WE, Dwarf) but they couldn't log in to the server because of the zone not being up. I then made a Human Warrior and tried getting into Qeynos, and it worked! From there, I did the world.exe flagging and it said it was successful, even though I couldn't do any commands that can be done at 200. So, I decided to log out and back in, only to be turned to not being able to zone into Qeynos anymore because it was not available. If anyone knows how to get zones up and running, that would be great!

Also, while setting up my server, I noticed that sometimes it displayed as "Locked" and other times it was open to the public, yet i did not do anything that I am aware of to lock or unlock it.

My server name is Killer Rabbits (Semi-Legit), note that it isn't semi-legit yet hehe. Below is my database.ini and loginserver.ini copied and pasted:

[Database]
host=localhost
user=myuser
password=mypass
database=eq
compression=off

[LoginServer]
loginserver=eqlogin1.eqemulator.net
loginport=5997
worldname=Killer Rabits (Semi-Legit)
worldaddress=192.168.1.100
locked=FALSE

[WorldServer]
Defaultstatus=0
Unavailzone=

[LoginConfig]
ServerMode=Standalone
ServerPort=5999
UplinkAddress=
UplinkPort=
UplinkAccount=
UplinkPassword=

Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated

Many thanks,
Kryptix and Rythan

I assume that you are trying to run a local server and not a public?

if not the above address of 192.168.1.100 needs to be your public external ip address.

You can find that out here.

Default Public Server?

When you say "local" server, you mean no one else outside of my LAN can log in? I want to be able to have a public server where anyone can log onto EQEmu and connect.

I will try changing my IP right now. BTW, the IP address displayed on whatsmyip.com was not working when I tried to do the Admin thing. I found out that I don't need the Admin program anymore so I will change it back. Thanks a lot
