Default Error 11001? Need help please.

Hi,

I'm totally new to this and I searched the forum but failed to find an answer to my problem. After running boot5zones.win9X.bat I get the error "Unable to get the host name. Error: 11001InitWorldServer failed" in each of the DOS windows.

I'm pretty sure I followed the readme.txt perfectly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

When this works, it's gonna ROCK!!!

Thanks.

Default temp fix

i have just figured out why me and countless ohters have been getting that darn 11001 error!

### --- This file tells world.exe what loginserver to connect to.
### --- do not add an account and password unless a EQEmu Dev member has created an account for you.
### --- adding an account and password only grants the server a green name and is not needed.

# READ README.TXT

loginserver=eqlogin.eqemu.net
worldname=Bormers Funland
locked=false
account=
password=
worldaddress=156.34.184.121:9000
loginport=5999

notice under world address i had to add :9000 i dont know if guys will be able to log on or if it will just work either but it cleans up the errors prob hope this helps some guys

I got it working for Minilogin. I used localhost instead of 127.0.0.1 (or whatever the default IP was) and I no longer get the errors. I haven't tried connecting to the eqemu server yet. Thanks for the help.

I'v never heard of a port in worldaddress working (in fact iv seen people asking for support after the port didnt work)

Dont use a port in worldaddress unless everything elce hasnt worked. and even then it might not work.

Default hehe

man dont tell guys not to use what works. its just a bit of text in the bat file and for some reason for someone who runs on comtrends adsl box, its the only way it works online.

minilogon works as the readme says but you gotta add that port before you can log your own server. at least i did anyway
