Im thinking of possibly starting my own server. I have all the things needed to make one. I had one but then 3.0 came out and i havent updated since then. If i could figure out how to update it. And figure out how to Make my own items that would be great.

Backup your current database first. I suggest using mysqldump.exe [databasename] > [filename to save it as]

Read my posts about converting Ariak's 1.07 data to work with EQEmu3.0 That should help a lot with sourcing the saved DB into a fresh 3.0 db.sql based database.

As to creating Items, you can still use Windcatchers admintool to do that. Better if you did that before trying to convert the DB though. At least till a newer version of the tool is released. As far as how to use it, search the message boards. It has been talked about several times.
