Every time you update EQ Live you re-set your eqhost.txt in your Everquest files. Make sure these are set to whatever the guide asks you to set them to. Next make sure you add the "patchme" to your EQ Emu shortcut. Finally make sure you have been putting in the correct name/pass, the same as your forum name/pass...

Read through the guide again to make sure that you got everything right. Double check your eqhost, make sure that your shortcut is to eqgame. There is a link in my sig to the guide. Double and triple check it just to make sure. If you're still having problems, respond back and maybe someone can figure it out from there.....

usually its the eqhost.txt , i had the same prob once and my eqhost was right but next to it was eqhost.live.txt i copied that then deleted it and i got in also ill add below something i did from a post shawn had you might want to try

If you are having problems connecting to the server, one of two things could be going on:

1. You did not patch properly or have corrupt EQ files. Fully re-patch using the Complete File Check option, then delete all *.txc and *.opt files from your EverQuest directory.

#2 was the server could be full but you cant even get that far so thats unlikely your prob

it may take some time until your account gets activated on the login servers. Not just because it works in the forums means it already works in the game servers. As you joined today, it may be the case.

Search the forums (use the 'search' link above, it's something to get used to) to find posts about this. There are.
