Character Creation/selection

I'm having troubles with the server I set up with the EQEMU.org login server, I can get everything booted up and reading properly but when I go into my server, I can get all the way to the char creation screen, but when I make a char, choose the name etc It freezes for about a minute and a half and gives me a you have been disconnected, my world read-out on the otherhand spews out a bunch of gibberish followed by character creation failed.


I've tried injecting the account with a start-off char but when I go to the char selection screen I get no chars and my world read-out gives me a similar error as if I had tried to create the char. I've recompiled my db twice now trying to get it to work. I'm using lurker's DB.


Please help when ya can so I can get another server up online (I'm planning to make it a server where everyone gets gm status [we'll see how crazy that is :P])

Don't try to edit the character_ table manually! If you did I suggest doing
mysql>delete from table character_;

That will clear the Character table.

Now, are you sure your everquest is all patched to current files, and your using all current 0.3.0 EQEmu files?

EQEmu files are all up to date as are my eq files :P. I didn't touch those tables manually I wouldn't know how lol :P

Make shure you reload your DB.sql into your eq database for version 3.0 it is bigger wont work with the 2.6 bd.sql

Try getting it running with minilogin. Post your results.

Oh hey I didn't put in the new db.sql from 3.0 :P
