Minilogin on a 4.4 server

Yes I understand 4.4 is ancient, but I do have the correct version burned onto a CD. I want to put it onto my laptop which has no internet. I just dont know the correct verstion of minilogin... I know its probobly not 3.6... but im not sure... I'm also using EQWINDOWS 2.32 which I think is recommended for 4.4 and I also do the patchme command too but I get the same error.

Please could someone assist me. I read all the readme's but unfortunitly I still get the same error. Am I doing something wrong?

Sheesh...

I'm on my knees please...

Please someone help me out here I want to get eqemu 4.4 single player working. If I get it working I'll post a readme if you want. Whatever I have to do to get it to work.

Error 1001 is usually an eqhost.txt issue.. check out this guide:

Um samandhi im trying to run a minilogin server (single player not connected to the internet) therefore I need to put this as my eqhost file has to be...

Try putting in your internal IP where it says localhost or try 127.0.0.1

Did you patch? Did you set up your shortcut on your desktop correctly? Are you running minilogin first THEN world.exe and zone.exe? Error 1002:

When I click zone.exe it does nothing. I use boot5zones.bat.

In your loginserver.ini try putting in localhost in place of your IP for loginserver and worldaddress...Or 127.0.0.1 ... I know that sounds odd, but sometimes manipulating things around like that helps.. I couldnt connect to MY minilogin server until I had localhost or 127.0.01 in there... It wouldnt let me use my internal IP for some reason... Other than that it looks as though you are connecting to minilogin and world.exe just fine... Just need to get the client connected hehe...

Make sure you have the right version of minilogon running - the latest is for 5.x - scroll down the download list for the right one.

Well actually I probobly do have the wrong version of minilogin, I know this because I finally got a minilogin to work on 5.5-DR1 server of mine now. (Don't worry im not gonna create a server on eqemu). If someone wants should I create a new thread with all the info on the stuff I did?
