ok dont flame me need help on new server

hey all

i understand that there are many posts and such on creating linux servers and all but i am a complete newb on linux. if someone can e-mail me a good walk through on it i will be so happy and will give my eternal thanks. if you wany my e-mail send me a pm and i will gladly send it to you...
