Default Useing TCMyWorld's Alpha 2 database

hey my database only has TCMyWorld's Alpha 2 should i use TCMyWorld's Alpha 1 aswell

i tried to source 1 but it kinda broke my db should i make a new one source 1 then 2?

Since your database is broken the best thing to do is to drop the database and start new.

Then create your database again. When sourcing you must use only one source code to source it. You can't then use another code and try to source over the exsisting one, is simply wont work. The only time you can source over your current database is when the source code does a update.

I reccomend getting the MW_052_053_alpha2 and source that. Then you need to run all the updates for it and it should run fine. If for some reason it does not work then you dont have all the updates for it. Updates are: Jan24_Update.sql, update-feb-20.sql, then the updates in the 5.5 release which are 1.sql, 2.sql, 3.sql. If you want to add the loot to all mobs check out the other post. I am currently recompiling my sql database =(

no i already fixxed it i keep backup efore i do anything

i orignally sourced MW_055_alpha2 database i was wonderd is there anything in MW_055_alpha1 database that i would want or am i fine with just MW_055_alpha2 database

Oh.. so the "pure" mw alpha 2 is not all that you need? bah.. where can i find all theese updates you are speaking of here.. (yeah.. find i guess..).. any chance you could share your db after you done recompiling it? :P

righto i got plans to do it tonight

so in alpha 1 and 2 then the updates aswell as the other dozen or so updates ive seen on the boards

wee sounds like fun

the MW releases uasually have all patches applied already..if a new patch(from the eqemu devs) comes out between a database release and a code elease make sure you run the patch from the devs.

MWalpha2 should be up to date with the current patches.

yes started fresh last night

source alpha 1 np

sourced the alpha 2 update from projecteq.com

found many problems with missing tables so

i sourced alpha 1 then alpha 2 30seconds of continuies beeping was enough before i decided alpha 2 was just fine lol
