Default EQ locking up after selecting my server

Having a little problem that maybe you can shed some light on. I've just about got my server up and running, but when I attempt to connect EQ minimizes just before I connect, then locks up. I have tested my connection to other servers and it did work there.

I've imported TCMyWorld's Alpha 1 database, TCMyWorld's Alpha 2 database, lootdrop update by govtcheeze v0.2 , and dumpeditems.sql files into my EQ database. I've pretty much followed These instructions to the letter except I used the MySQL frontend to import the databases. The server is sitting on the DMZ.

My World.exe gave me an error saying I connected, then disconnected. Is the problem related to the fact that my PC and EQ server are both on the same Network?

EDIT: I want to make a note, if possibly I'd like to leave the server open to the outside, but also be able to login from inside the lan. I noticed alot of posts about connecting VIA lan, but nothing about LAN/WAN at the same time. I guess I should also note that my EQEmu server is dedicated. I'm trying to connect through another PC.

Ok, with the solving of this problem comes a new problem, how do I limit the amount of accounts that attach to my server at once, or how many accounts can be created Thanks
