Default Connection problems..plz help
When i ge to the char selectiopn screen and make the toon i can not get in. It will try to connected for a min or twoi but then it kicks right back to the server selection screen. How do i need to do to fix this problem??

Patch to live then only connect to the "Live" servers that are DR-3

okay i patched to live and now i can not even get passed the piont where i enter my station name and password. it just kicks me back to my desktop now

I suggest you read the boards more before giving out information like this, SoE has made a dangerous new patch that prevents you from connecting to the eqemu login servers, same goes for you winamir, read the boards, before posting, i belive the wise ones famous line is SEARCH BEFORE YOU POST. a quick view of the other board topics will tell you that this is not the first post about this,just look around for topics on connecting after you patch. Hate to tell ya but you can't connect if you have patched to the may 18th one.

uh oh, I patched may 18 :( that would explain why I keep getting kicked out when i try to login on the emulated servers. So there is no way to get rid of the files that mess it up? I noticed that if go to the login screen and then when u get kicked out, look at your eqhost.txt, it reads

[LoginServer]
Host=xp-smitchell:7308

instead of the emulated login and play server info.
Does that help any?

Anyway please help me find a way to be able to connect to the emulated servers agian. Thx alot

Wait til the servers are ugraded or talk to a friend that did not patch.
