Default Bard NPC use there songs! Also can one change pet stats?

I love how bards use there songs. Was playing around in qeynos and attacked a bard he used his songs on me! I hope you guys keep that in the emu. makes bard NPC seem more life like.

Also is there anyway to edit pet stats? Even in the spell editor it seems the spell doesnt have any say on pet stats. It just summons the item which in this case is the pet. That means the pet stats must be stored somewhere else. Hmmm

Nah I mean more along the lines of permanent change. Like edit the spdat so pets are stronger and have more HP. The makepet command is like a cheat. I would like to buff pets in the game to a players lvl so they can solo easier.

Somewhere in the SPdat or somthing has to be pet stats.

The Data on Pets is sentinel; it should be in the spdat.eff - have you extracted it yet and parused thru?

I thought pet stats was in core?

spdat.eff "Cavorting Bones" only has the information of spell type and "skeleton1". Since pets didn't even work until recently, and some still don't, I figured the only way to change their hp etc are in core.

Default Pet stats!

I know how to change pet stats... it involves going into the zone exe source code and lookin for spells.cpp.

In that file you will find everything for spells including making pets. You must scroll down to where pet types seem to be in a case selection. (cant remember exactly where it was, towards the bottom i know.) These pet types make a call to MakePet(values to pass).

Just study that and you might find yourself changing level equations and such. I actually made my own type of pet, and assigned this type to an effect, like cavortating (sp?) bones. Then i put this effect on an item and was able to summon my new pet type.

WARNING! ~ THIS IS HARD TO DO FOR MOST PEOPLE! ~
