BAD Lag

Im curious if anyone has a way of telling why there is considerable lag on my own Server I have set up yesterday. Its the Ironmans WOrld one. I get insane amounts of Ping in RED Etc.... Fear Plane is really really bad. Is there a setting or config somewhere for this or is it just inherent with EQEmu for now?
