Default New Problem, Computer Freezes after logging on account.

I have played EQemu off and on for a long time now, I reformatted my hard drive a bit ago and went to set up another EQemu. What I always do, which always works is I just copy my EQ folder, rename it, then change the login host. Then I make a shortcut on desktop, and add patchme. Always works. But now After putting in my account name and password at login, I press connect, and then computer completely freezes.

I am running the latest version of Everquest, with the new login screen, is that the problem? Or is my problem that I am using a forum account to login that I havnt logged in with in months. It always worked before?

Default Lolzorz

The latest EQLive is incompatable with EQEMu at the moment.

This is not a new problem, it has been mentioned on many boards.

Their is no way to reverse the patch to the one before latest, because asking for the correct files is considered warez, and warez is not tolerated on these boards.

Unless someone comes across this post and sends you the files, your screwed. Time to play the waiting game

Default there is one way to undo a patch....

do a system restore to before u patched....worked for me, but it can be VERY risky, expecially if you are runing XP...when i did it the last time (not having to do with EQemu, but another problem), one of the windows startup registry files got delelted and causeed my system to crash... spent an entire day getting it back up....so do this at your own risk. I am not liable for any screwups that happen if u do it....but since u just reformatted your drive, not sure how it would work for you.

Default Login Hangs......

I am running into the same issue. world.exe and zones all start up fine but when going to the client and connecting to the eqemulator.net:5995 port for login it just hangs forever with the Please wait.... message.

Where will the developers post the status of the login server working with the latest eqlive patch?

Right now it doesn't work and it'll get posted in the news on the front page as soon as it does.
