Few Newbie Problems

Allright first off i am dumb, just found out about EQemu today, i quit EQ a while back and never updated untill today when i was talking to some former guildees about EQemu, so i patch up and download EQemu. After reading your page i realize im dumb, my bad. Are there plans to get EQemu working with the patch any time soon?

2ndly, i went though the steps in the new players to EQemu today, and when i went to Account it brought me to the actual SOE site. Is my server wrong?

Thanks for any insight to my stupidity.

Well, yesterday the servers were compatible with the patch. Today sony released Omens of War which completely changes around a lot of stuff. The servers will eventually be compatible with live again, but it will take some time. The last time an expansion came out it took about 2 months. but depending on what changed and how often stuff continues to change it could be from 1 day to 5-6 months.

Well darn, heh i should have payed more attention to what was going on with patches lol. Ohh well i will just look forward to playing on EQemu when its patched. Thanks.
