Default Patcher

Needing help I have my Mini Log Server up and running fine. I am having a few problems.

Evertime I log in I have to repatch my eqhost file since EQ live pather over writes it. I have tried to make it read only how ever it forces it of read only and over writes. What can I do to stop this?

Also I was wondering if there was a EQemu Patcher Program I could use to log in past the EQ live one. I recall EQwindows that I use to use would bypass it. Also the guys at Winter Roar have their own patcher. I would love to have something like this for my set up if anyone knows where I can get a shell and edit it for my system?

Also : Would like to find a good list of DB add ons, I currently have the DB's that Spike had listed on his Tutorial (Awesome One). I would like to add more things in. I have found some problems with the Kunark DB (the ones I loaded) both in buggy stuff like doors, traps, and then content. Named not droping loot and name not in correct spawn points from live. I'm sure some of this was intentional and I'm sure some of it wasn't. I would love to test and help get feedback to people to debug this stuff.

Please give me some direction to work with.

Thanks Much
