Default Just need to know where the link is for???

I just needed to know where I can get the information for the following:

1: what is the best Emu so far for EQ
2: Where do I find the readme.txt on installing and setting up my own personal offline server for #1
3. I have read a lot of threads and to tell you the truth its very confusing to alot of newbies. So many questions answered and none that pertain to exact setup and install verbated....
4. I was on hackers and they sent me here. Now I see a download for mysql or whatever it is called and its like fricken 28megs download. WTF I already downloaded the hackers one and read all the way through the step by step and made the folders copied everything into them got the Emu up and found file tool help on the top and set up the patcher to go to patchme. By this time I am getting pissed that everytime I try to login it says my account does not exist.....
5. So anyway I come here and look for another Emu as the other one is no longer going to work because so and so is no longer working on it. Well now I see a ton of different Emus in here and I cannot figure out which one is the right one and to find the walk through on setup. If the setup is that one on that page that takes 20min to read and three days to get up WTF. lol
6. If anyone can completly answer this without smart remarks this THREAD can be useful to other brand new newbies. Thanks for the help and LINKS...

tutorial section has step by step instructions that 10 year olds follow with no issues daily.

Also were not current with live right now so you cant run or even play on a server right now.

Ok so basically I need to just get my server working properly and then wait till you Mattmek or someone else says newbies can run there servers now. Okay thanks again for the information. I will just keep ticking away at getting this thing working then and maybe when it is actually working it will be time to play lol. Funny thing is I am only doing this so my wife can play lol she is an EQ fanatic I'm <cough> still a UO fan myself even though to most people it sucks. I still like tinkering with that one
