Default * ERROR *: Corrupt or missing file on update server.

I'm getting this message when I run the patcher

EverQuest file update failed. If the problem persists, contact your network administrator or internet service provider for assistance.

If this is your first time playing EverQuest, refer to "Troubleshooting Your Connection" in "EverQuest_Manual.txt"in your EverQuest folder.

Tried opening port 7000, but a no go. I reloaded using my original cd's purchased when the game first came out, so chances are theirs some definite incompatibilty errors there. Im giving the free trilogy DL thing a try, but it will be another....7 days... before it finishes. For all the money sony is rolling in, you'd think those assholes would increase their bandwidth beyond that of 30kb.

any ideas of how i may fix it in the meantime? maybe someone could post a recent version of the patcher so i may try it?
