Default General Error - eq.variables missing

Hello,
I have read on the wiki and did a search on the forums, but am yet to find something about the eq (my database name) . variables missing problem with the MySQL database.

Edit: Error - #1146: Table 'eq.variables' doesn't exist

Can someone give me some advise or point me in the right direction?

Thanks.

I read both your posts; seems like your server is not able to access your SQL database ; are you using a Linux box?

I have two boxes, a windows and linux box.

I'm getting the error on both.

And no, that would not be accurate, it is able to connect, and I am able to make a character... and it does save. I am just still getting that error.

I actually just had to shut off the linux box... someone was able to hack in to it, and wipe it. It appears like someone got my root password.

I only have my Windows Server Codename Longhorn server up (I am in contact with someone who works at Microsoft, he was able to get me an invitation to the beta)
