Couple of basic questions

I'm planning on getting EQEmu up and running tonight but have a couple of basic questions.

Does Minilogin still work? I want to get a local set up working at home. The main login page is being updated so I can't see a way to play any other way temporarily.

Are people getting banned from EQ for having EQEmu on their PC?

Thanks for any info.

1. Yes, Minilogin still works (download the newest one from sourceforge). However, as there is a patch today, it might not
work tonight.. (backup eq to a new directory before patching)

2. Yes.. We've all been banned..

Why else would we be creating EQEmu?

LOL..

Not really... several people around here have been banned, but no one due to EQEmu... Verant only bans dumbasses that run through zones /ooc'ing EQEMU rules! Verant SUCKS.. or /ooc Is Stormfeather still up, I just lost him on ShowEQ...

There is no way verant can find out you're using the emu unless you talk about it in real EQ (or go around posting your real EQ name/server or e-mail address somewhere on an emu board OR somewhere where you talk about using the emu.) Don't worry about your station accounts.
