Default Spawning creatues in a unpop zone-Help

I have been trying to populate an empty zone with my favorite creatures in eq but everytime I #dbspawn # I get a human with that name. Could someone let me know what I am not doing wrong. I really want to create a unique zone in our world.

Thank you,
Dag

only certain NPC's can be spawned in certain zones.

Read up on force loading, models if you want to spawn them anyway.

beginnings of a zone by zone model reference (feel free to add to it):

and one of many forum posts on the topic:

also, keep in mind that you will have to have your users patch their _chr.txt files or they will only see humans in place of the models you are "importing". i handle this by having a "cut and paste" page on my website, so that sony cant balk, since the users are updating their own config files (hence no patching illegalities).
