Create a new text file in your Everquest directory root. Call it starteq.txt

In that file, insert the following:

Code:
start eqgame.exe patchme
Save the file and close it. Now rename starteq.txt to starteq.bat

Run that file from the EQ directory and you should be set. If you want a shortcut on your desktop, just create a shortcut to startme.bat

Good luck.
