Default NPC Hit Problem

So my crushbone zone is fully populated with custom made orcs & mobs ... I noticed while testing the server I made a level 1 pally, got some armor with no AC , so my base AC was now around 80ish ... I went to attack a red mob and they were missing me 75% of the time... anyone know how i can make the NPC mobs able to land a hit for most of the time ?

As far as I know, there is no way to change how often a mob lands hits. That is all based on skill level of the mob. Make sure you are running eqemu code later than the 1081 release and make sure to enable to rule for Combat:UseIntervalAC.

Once you have that set up, the best way to increase your NPC dps is to up their STR and/or their hit rate. Hopefully eventually there will be a way to adjust how often mobs land hits vs players. This issue becomes even worse at higher levels.

So far on my server with the newer code, I have found that fighting reds at such low levels make them very tough. Normally in Crushbone, I will do whites or yellows at max and anything over is risky and will probably kill me.
