I know you visit these boards. Do not do an action like this again.

Give credit to the people who made it - IN YOUR AUCTION - so they know who made the emulator that you are illegally selling access too.

Wait, that would defeat the purpose..

perhaps not, but it is REALLY LOW and just morally[sp?] wrong. Somewhere along the lines of sending out millions of spam mails using other peoples servers.


And come to think of it it is probabbly someone that was baned. If they aren't, I would ban them if I could.

He linked the copyrighted images from the webpage onto his auction without giving the copyright owner credit.

Illegal, no??

I dont think any of the devs payed 2 grand to copyright the images, but it is essentially a form of stealing because they belong to this site...

1) You don't 'copyright' an image.. If you wanted to, that would be a trademark
2) It doesn't cost $2,000..



Anything on their page *is* copyrighted, as long as it says "Copyright (Date)" or "(c) date"

it depends on if he LINKED to the image. or if he rehosted the image. One is questionable legal, one is definatley not.

He did NOT give credit to the linked image. He did not give credit to a hosted image. He blantantly stole the image THEY have copyrighted.

Let me put it this way.

I run a porn site (I DO NOT!!)

I host a BUNCH of pictures from another site. I do NOT give credit to the owner. I do not ask the owner to reproduce his images.

That = ILLEGAL.
