Default Bad Username/Password Error

Have tried everything found on the boards, the stickies and other posts i can to log in. No dice. I get the dreaded EQEmU error : Bad Username/Password. I am assuming i need a reauth of my account as i am on cable. Problem is I have had 3 different people reauth for me to no avail. One from dial-up, one from DSL and one from a T1 at work.

My only guess is that i am doing it wrong. but first, the pertinent info:

I am only trying to play, not host a server so i dont have all the files you request in the stickies, but will post what i have here.

OS: W2K
RAM: 512
VC: NVIDIA GEOFORCE

eqhost.txt contents:

[Registration Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5999"
}
[Login Servers]
{
"eqlogin1.eqemu.net:5999"
"eqlogin2.eqemu.net:5999"
}

Thats what i have. I dont have a version or anything since i am only trying to play, not run a server. I dont think any eq patching would cause any problems with just logging in.

Anyone have any ideas? Would someone consider reauthing for me if that is allowed? thanks...

once reauthed, you need to login in to the eqemu login server from that same IP address.

So if someone reauthed it for you, they need to login in once. then it should be all good.
