Default I just bought SoF, but...

So I bought SoF and installed it. I chaged the eqhosts file to reflect my localhost server and I can play just fine. I can buy from merchants, but I can't sell to them. When I try to sell to them I get:

"Merchant Kwein says "I will give you per bone chip".

Any ideas?

Which server are you playing on? There have been many SoF fixes over the past few months and if the server you are on is running older code, that could be the cause of your problem. Buying and selling works fine for me in all cases that I have tried since the last fixes.

You're a few hundred revisions behind. Rev774 is already available. If you want to count the new bots code, it's at rev 816.

Make sure you've updated all of the required SQL entries. There's been some changes to NPCs, so there might be a problem if the servre rev and database you're using is not in sync.
