MySQL driving me insane!!!! Help please

Okay, i have been trying to attempt to create a server for the past 5 hours now, and i deleted everything to start from scratch because i got extremely confused. Now im trying to reinstall MySql and whenever i reach the part after i enter the root password and then i have to click execute, it freezes at Start Service and it does not respond ( Says Not Responding at the top ). This is really frustrating and if anyone can help i would really appreciate it, thank you.

Try and use 'MySQL Server Instance Config Wizard'.
Should straighten you out.

You can find it by going to 'Start/All Programs/MySQL'
