Default Readme?

i am a complete EQemu newb, and before I go asking a ton of newb questions, I would like to read all the information you have on EQemu. sadly, however, the readme file (the compendium thread, near the top of this board) does not appear to be working. Am I just a moron, or is there something wrong with it? If you have the readme somewhere else, I would be happy to read it there too.

My biggest question is, does this program allow me to simply explore the zones of Everquest without getting attacked or anything? That is what i really want to do, just have the freedom to wander around any zone and look at it. I don't know if this request is in conflict with your ban on asking for illegal content or anything, and if it is, i apologize.

As you can tell, I am flat- out new to this, so any comprehensive introduction to the conecpt of EQemu is highly appreciated. Additionally, I play Everquest currently. Is it possible to run this and play Everquest ont the same machine- not somultaneously, but if I have this installed and set up to work, can I still log on to Everquest like normal?

thanks for any help, and sorry for being a nOOb, that's where we all start.
