Default Differences in "Out of the box" and test server...

As far as I know the only three DB files that contain items that people use are as follows:

items.sql
magelo-items-3.6.sql
hq-items-3.6.sql

I have tried pretty much every combination of these and cannot match the EQEMU test (green server) as far as what items actually have a graphic...

Case in point:

On the server I set up on my local machine -- when logged in I cannot see the correct graphic for the ShadowKnight epic but on the EQEMU test server I see it.

I woul imagine that a different item db is being used or something is configured differently? Which also begs the question... where is the graphic for an item being stored?

I feel stupid for asking such basic questions but do not see the answer anywhere...

I am trying to get up to speed to help with development hopefully and am just starting to piece together how the puzzle works...

Thanks ahead of time...

I am going back to re-read the FM again... *grin*

items.sql and hq-items-3.6.sql are the same

Load one of the above first, they have the best information.

then load the magelo file:
mysql -f eq < magelo-3.6.sql

And it is possible that some one went in and fixed the graphics on that item on the other server. There was actually a command put in the emu to do just that. I forget what it is though.

Excellent, thank you... I am trying it now... I seemed to have done this before though...

*time passes--*

Ok I sourced in the magelo over top of the other... The item in my example is now there without a proper graphic.

I have downloaded That "Wind" person's 3rd party editor and I have to say I am QUITE impressed with the front end.

I went into Innoruuks Curse (the name of the sword) and adjusted it to have the proper graphic. Job complete, everyone is happy... very nice. I appreciate the help.

I am however a command line type person (GUI's=trouble) and would LOVE to know what would need to be edited diectly in the database to adjust this...

If anyone sees this and knows the answer I ould LOVE to hear it. Until the next strange question, adios!

*hugs*

p.s. Lurker do you happen to know EVERYthing? *laughs*

There are still a few things I haven't figured out yet.

#1 being females
and #2 time travel

Yea, I figure we'll have conquored the entire galaxy and will be travelling through time in British Police boxes before we figure out why it is that my date last week cried for half an hour at the broadway rendition of 'Westside Story'

Shessh... The pansy funk coming off that flighty little touchy feely play made me want to jump off the balcony.

Default Ok, is anyone scared now?

The Hyperdimensional Resonator

The Hyper Dimensional Resonator is one of the most advanced instruments of it's kind in the entire world. An advanced Psychotronic two dial, one bank unit that has many uses. It is primarily designed as an astral projection/time machine and unlimited white light generator. The unit comes with a witness well, rubbing plate, multidimensional stabilizer, clear switch, power switch, and time-coil. It is the only unit of it's kind in the world. If you have ever had difficulties astral projecting then this device can help you to succeed. Strictly a research tool.

Operational Procedures

The unit works similar to a radionic unit. The two dials are tuned radionically to the date and time you wish to travel to. The time coil headband sends the vibrational energy of that time into your third eye. After this is done for 5-10 minutes, you meditate and your astral body should be transported to the date and time you chose. If you have done the procedure on a grid point or vortex, you may even be physically transported in time. The unit comes with complete written instructions for proper use.
