There are no items or NPC's

Im running the windows XP version and my friends works, but when i create a character and go in..there are no npcs..no items, and when i try to item search...0 items found

Plz help

#itemsearch doesnt list all items by itself.. try doing #itemsearch Cloth

or something common to see if its in there (the DB isint complete)..

Another thing is, the DB you have may not have come with items (and i know it didnt come with spawns). you need to download this seperately and should be available on the EQEmu SF project site. ( http://sourceforge.net/projects/eqemu/ )

BTW, are you sure your using the latest version of EQemu and the database (0.3.7)? 0.3.7's database does come with items (as does most releases)

there are no npcs anywhere...i dl the addon thing and replaced all the files to the bin folder..but still no npc's

Did you run the install.bat from the addon database package? It sources the .sql files that came with the addon zip, unless you source those .sql files you do not reap the benefits of the items or spawns.

it works now woohoo..there are just no cazic thules and stuff =/..and why dont the spawning work..anywyas thanks alot
