Cannot give items to necro pet?
I'm running EQemu 2068 using PEQ 2083. followed the sticky install guide and all worked flawlessly until I rolled my necro. I cannot give my pet any equiment. There is no error or reply string, it simply puts the item back on my cursor. Tried both as the necro player and as a GM, from both underfoot and titanium clients, same result.
I tried searching here but "pet" is too short for the search engine. Can anyone give me a clue as to what or where the problem is? This is seriously going to cut into my necros godliness if I cant give my pet his toys :(

I have had zero problems giving my magician his items. I am running r2091 but I think the result would be the same. Maybe you missed an SQL ?

This was a fresh install using the versions listed. there were no updates to do, so AFAIK there was nothing I could have missed?

I followed the sticky in this very forum
http://www.eqemulator.org/forums/showthread.php?t=32980
At the time I downloaded, EQemu 2068 and PEQ 2083 were the latest available. The only update in the utils\sql\svn folder that was a higher revision was 2087_required_bots_HP_and_mana_and_spell_updates.s ql, which I did not add in since I am running the nobots version of the server.
I just tried mage pets and the same thing happens when I try to give them an item, summoned or otherwise.

Yeah me too, hands it back with no reply from the pet. This must had happened a few revisions ago, but it was working. I am guessing what I was thinking was handing my bot items, but I just tried to give a mage pet a rusty mace, which it would normally take.
So you are using r2068 ? There were pet changes directly after that I see from SVN.

And I verified it is something with Tutorial B. I moved a level 11 mage that his pet would not accept armor or weapons, finally took him to PoK and the pet suddenly would take both.

Take a look at the default.pl in tutorialb. It's pretty obvious.

Location, location, location. Would never have thought it was an issue with zone scripts.
Thanks guys, in hindsight it makes sense but it seems the only purpose for that default.pl in tutorialb was to keep newbs from losing turned in items? Pulled that and things magically work.

The plugin Trevius posted on the PEQ forums? As I said in that thread, it already is. Just do an SVN update.
