Your problem could be due to multiple issues. You could be on an unsupported or patched client. You could have ports blocked on your network if you are trying to play from school/work/etc. You could have multi-core CPU issues.

I would suggest checking the FAQ for help:

Thank you very much for the reply!! My brother and I got eqemu up and running, but another problem has arisen, we can log on to every other server except the one we want to play on! (and the pvp server), we can't log on to P99 Kunark, or it's pvp brother, i'm not really sure where to go from here, but as I said were able to connect and play on every other server except the p99 kunark and pvp server, any more help is greatly appreciated!

Those servers only support Titanium and maybe SoF clients, not SoD or UF. If you use Port 5999 in your eqhosts.txt file, then you use SoD or UF.

Also, those servers are limited to 1 account pet IP so if you and your brother play from the same house, you may have to request an additional IP increase which could take weeks before you can both play together at the same time.

Since your issue is specific to the P99 servers, I would suggest you ask for help on their forums. We do not give individual server support here.
