Grabbed a virtual server for $35/mo from NFO 3hrs ago

Logged into it within 20minutes of ordering it

Pulled up your setup guide

Ran into a couple hickups:
-TortoiseSVN link is invalid, had to manually google (not hard :P )
-The PEQDB to use is no longer valid from the guide, had to manually grab it from the provided "DO NOT USE.txt" found after grabbing stuff from SVN per the guide. Also not hard, but i'm a developer by trade so.....consider updating that part to not confuse people horribly?
-There was something else but it's 12:53am and i forgot it ! Nothing major I think.


Within 3hrs my server is now up and running, Land of Scar (in Dev).....nice job with that guide and overall setup configuration you guys got going ! Really makes me want to do stuff now :O!


Now I just have to wait until I get home from work tomorrow to actually do stuff to it O_O!!!

ps: First time running an EQ server, going to start developing something I talked about in another thread. Classic server with a small twist on choosable races in a classic progression format ! Gnoll Necromancers anyone :O?!
