Default Same for me

Same for me.. I get invalid page fault error. I am sure I have everything setup correctly too.

Win98SE is what I am running. I also used 98Lite to remove some explorer components, but that shouldnt interfere with EQemu.

I have yet to find an answer, I just gave up.

Complied mysql correctly with resourcing.

Adjusted the settings for localhost on most configs

Everything runs fine until the boot5zone.bat is ran, then BOOM, 5 fatals with invalid page faults.

well, yesterday someone i talked to on the emu told me the easy way to fix this. all it was was that i didnt have the add-on from the main page here. pretty damn simple but i never had scrolled down to see that mesage.

Default I get the same thing

I got the 3.11 addon and ran the install.bat file in the mysql/bin directory after sourcing the original db.sql and dbupdate.sql from the 3.11 version of the EMU. However, I still get the illegal operation error. I read something on the main page about deleting the character_ table, and i loaded the mysqladmin tool and went to the database tab where I could see the character_ table, but I couldnt find a way to delete it there. Is there another way to do this, and is this even the problem? im still stuck with the Boot5Zones.bat file crashing. I did put my IP correctly in all of the files, as well as any other things like that. Suggestions?

-Brandon

I can actually help you with this..I had the same problem but if you put REM before the exit and cls command when you Edit the Boot5Zones File, it works fine for me...Just minimize and it will go to sleep. Make it look like this

REM: ****Read this first!!!****

REM: This file requires your real IP in the place of "YourIP" when you are connecting
REM: To the EQEmu Loginserver.

REM: When you are using minilogin, Replace all IP Addresses to say 127.0.0.1

REM: If you still get errors try using localhost instead of 127.0.0.1

REM:--------------Start-----------------------

@echo off
start zone . "YourIP" 7995 "YourIP"
start zone . "YourIP" 7996 "YourIP"
start zone . "YourIP" 7997 "YourIP"
start zone . "YourIP" 7998 "YourIP"
start zone . "YourIP" 7999 "YourIP"
REM exit
REM cls

REM:---------------END------------------------

This fixed it for me. The spells file was 0 byte length. After I copied the one from c:\program files\sony\everquest it worked fine and loaded the zone.
