Default Game is hanging whenever I try to login to my private server

Hello everyone!

I've been trying to get a private server up and running for the last couple of days. I've finally gotten to a point where I cannot figure out what I'm doing wrong. This server will only be for me to play on my local hard drive while I'm offline.

EQEmu Login server, world.exe, ucs.exe, eqlaunch.exe and queryserv.exe are all up.

The only possible error that I see is in EQEmu login server it states, "[World] Server Vallon Zek(Classic) did not attempt to log in but unregistered servers are allowed."

I can startup the EQ client and get to the login screen, but when I enter my account and password, it simply states "Logging into server, please wait..." and doesn't do anything else.

When I enter my name and password into the everquest login screen the EQEmu Login Server it states:

[Network] New Titanium client connection from 127.0.0.1:58212
[Network] Application packet received from client (size 14)
[Network] Session ready received from client.

In login.ini:

[database]
host = localhost
port = 3306
db = peq
user = root
password = eq
subsystem = MySQL

In eqhost.txt:

[LoginServer]
Host=127.0.0.1:5998

In eqemu_config.xml:

<?xml version="1.0"?>
<server>

Are you able to log into other servers with that client, like PEQ?

Did you create a login account in your database?

Are you running your own Login Server or using the EqEmu login server?

Hi, I followed the guide on how to run my own login server, but I apparently I did something wrong. I'm pretty sure that I created my own login account on my database.

I recently just tried to simply log onto EQEmu servers to play w/o hosting my own server and I found that I could login, but whenever I tried to load the game it jammed up.

Did you have any 'connection to database' errors in the shell windows..or logs?

If so, try changing localhost to a hard address of 127.0.0.1.

I found a crash zone file in the log server. Checking the file, I found it listed the following errors:
