Default updating source on windows server

I am looking at updating source from March 2015 to present. It looks like there has been some big changes in how AAs are done and I also never did get mercenaries working.

My question is how likely is it that updating will break changes I have made? Will I have to worry about players losing purchased AA's. Are there any other changes I would need to worry about?

I have made a lot of changes but all most all of them have been to the database and only a few have been made in the quests .pl files.

Some changes
  1. Spawn timers for Mobs and PH chance for Named
  2. Items in merchants as well as new items you start with
  3. lots of changes in the rule_values table
  4. Drop chances off monsters
  5. PoK book destinations. This was done in quest folder
  6. Changes to spells

The only "issue" will be AA's being reset, you will get back the AAs you spent and have your AAs unpurchased.

None of those changes will be affected. The AA update adds new tables but doesn't change any of your other data. For example, EZ Server recently did the update.
